Teens Allegedly Beat Step Father To Death After He Sexually Abused Their Sister
Two south Texas teen brothers have been taken into custody for beating their stepfather to death after he allegedly sexually abused their half-sister.
Alejandro and Christian Trevino, and their friend Juan Eduardo Melendez, all 18, are being charged of beating Gabriel Quintanilla, 42, and abandoning him to die in a empty field in McAllen where his body was found by a local farmer.
Numerous media articles say Quintanilla’s body was located with obvious drastic blunt force injury to his head. McAllen Police Department passed the investigation over to the Pharr Police Department.
Pharr Police Chief Andy Harvey Jr. shared with Fox News that the office is working up a reworked press release, and a city spokeswoman states a possible press meeting is in the works.
“There seems to be some misinformation out there about this case,” Harvey stated via email.
In a previous news release, Pharr police shared the child made an uproar at an RV park.
