Teen Involved In The Death Of Uber Eats Driver Pleads Guilty

A 15-year-old girl who was involved in the death of an Uber Eats driver during a carjacking in Washington D.C. has pleaded guilty to felony murder.

The teen filed the plea last Wednesday and she is expected to be sentenced on June 4 for the death of 66-year-old Mohammad Anwar. Anwar was killed while the teen and another 13-year-old girl attempted to carjack his vehicle in March and slammed his vehicle while he was still hanging out of the car. Since she entered the plea, other charges against the teen have been dropped.

According to the New York Post, both girls were charged with felony murder, carjacking, and armed robbery.

A hearing for the 13-year-old is set for next week since she is still facing charges. She will not be charged as an adult due to her age even in the case of murder.
