16-year-old Cole Hagan reportedly suffered from multiple skull fractures and a broken collarbone after attending a
house party in Lake Jackson on Dec. 3. Authorities said the three teens, Reid Mitchell, Logan Huber, both aged 17, and Ayden Holland lured Hagan away from the party and said his vehicle was apparently damaged. Moments after leaving the party, the three teens started attacking Hagan by punching him in the face and elbowing him multiple times once his face landed on the concrete.

Hagan’s older brother Cory said he was placed on a ventilator for several days after the attack. “They left him in the road after they finished attacking him and then texted one of his friends that were in the backyard of this house to say, “Hey come get your boy out of the street.”They left him in the street, people who were supposed to be his friends.’ he added.

On Monday, Cory said that his brother is breathing on his own and he was able to take a few steps but the road to recovery is very long. The family is also offering a $25,000 reward for the video of his brother’s assault.

It is unclear if the three teens will be charged as adults or juveniles for the assault and they were all released on a $20,000 bail.
