Teen Couple Charged After Uploading Sadistic Video Laughing About Murdering Girl’s Father

A teen couple in Las Vegas has been charged after uploading a sadistic video laughing and joking about allegedly murdering the girl’s father, and having “a lot of sex” while on the run from police. The teens, identified as Aaron Guerrero, 18, and his 16-year-old girlfriend, Sierra Halseth — who is the daughter of a former Nevada state senator — shared the shocking video with the public this past week; and in it, they playfully recalled the alleged killing.

Guerrero, with a smirk on his face, says into the camera, “Welcome to our YouTube channel … Day 3 after murdering somebody.” Giggling, Halseth warns, “Whoa! Don’t put that on camera.” Kissing his girlfriend on the forehead, Guerrero replies, “It was worth it.” Continuing, the teen girl brags about how they “had sex a lot today,” which prompts her boyfriend to reveal, how it was “payment for doing it,” referring to the alleged crime. The teen boy then softly slaps her face and puts his hand around her throat, leading her to pretend to choke before finally looking at the camera and casually adding, “So, yeah.”

It’s reported that the teens allegedly committed the act after both of their parents forbade them from seeing each other. Their admission was filmed in April, six days after the couple allegedly fatally stabbed Halseth’s father, Daniel Halseth, 45, and attempted to dismember him and set fire to his house. After the alleged crime, the couple fled in the father’s blue Nissan Altima, but ended up getting busted less than a week later in Salt Lake City before they could make it to California. It’s also reported that they used the father’s bank cards to buy items (bleach, a saw, lighter fluid, etc.) in the gruesome crime. As mentioned, the teens have since been charged — charges include conspiracy to commit murder, arson, credit-card fraud, and robbery. The girl, who is 16, has been charged as an adult, but cannot face the death penalty per Nevada state law. Meanwhile, Guerrero, who is 18, can potentially face the death penalty.
