A 15-year-old student has been accused of fatally shooting another classmate after bumping into each other in a school hallway.
A teenager in Florida has been charged with killing his 16-year-old classmate after a brief confrontation in a school hallway, according to WBTV. Authorities said that the victim allegedly didn’t apologize after bumping into the suspect.
Authorities identified the suspect as Jacori Redding, who allegedly shot and killed Pinien Dalmacy, 16, following a dispute at Oak Ridge High School in Orange County. Orange County Sheriff John Mina said the shooting stemmed from a minor hallway incident between the two students. “I’m really angry that something as small as bumping into someone in the halls of a high school, something that we have all done, has now turned into a deadly shooting of a 16-year-old,” Mina said. Redding reportedly returned to the school with a gun after the confrontation before he was taken into custody by authorities.

Authorities Investigate How Teen Obtained the Gun
During a press conference, Sheriff Mina revealed that Redding had been previously on trial for grand theft auto at the time of the shooting.
Mina stated that investigators are now working to determine how Redding obtained the firearm used in the fatal shooting
The suspect was quickly apprehended and arrested following the incident and remains in custody while facing charges related to murder and weapons possession.
Victim Identified as 16-Year-Old Pinien Dalmacy
Authorities identified the victim as Pinien Dalmacy, a 16-year-old student who had previously attended schools in the Orange County Public Schools district.
A representative from the district confirmed that Dalmacy was enrolled in the district last year, though no further details were released.
