Looks like Taylor Swift is back on the market as she and her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, reportedly had an “amicable split weeks ago.”

Several news reports claim sources close to the couple have shared with them that Taylor and Joe called it quits a few weeks ago, and that there is no bad blood between the two exes, everything was amicable.

Speaking with ‘Page Six,’ ‘Entertainment Tonight,’ and more, sources say, “It wasn’t dramatic. [The relationship] just ran its course.” The sources close to the 33-year-old singer and the 32-year-old British actor add, “Its why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows.”

Since March 17, Taylor has been on her big ‘Eras’ tour, and as mentioned by the sources, fans have indeed noticed that Taylor’s now-ex-beau has not been with her.

Meanwhile, back in March, a friend of the couple told People Magazine,’ “Joe will travel with  her when he can. They are great together. Joe is super supportive of her career.”

Taylor and Joe’s split also follows recent reports of them being in a great place in their relationship. Back in October 2022, a source told ‘ET’ that they were “doing great,” and that their “relationship is super strong.”

Now, despite years and years of engagement rumors, it looks like Taylor and Joe have decided to do great on their own, and they won’t be heading down the aisle anymore.

Before calling it quits, Taylor and Joe first met back in 2016 at the Met Gala. A few months later, they would begin dating, but would hold off on going public until 2017.

For the most part of their relationship, Taylor and Joe were quite private about their romance, which is why her fans speculated a few times of the two lovebirds being engaged.

In Taylor’s 2020 Netflix documentary, ‘Miss Americana,’ she wore what appeared to be an engagement ring on her left hand’s ring finger. The fan speculation was never confirmed.

Then some Swifties were truly convinced that the couple secretly got married at one point after that, but sources confirmed with several news outlets, that that was not the case.

Even Joe admitted to the ‘Wall Street Journal‘ that if the two ever did change their relationship status from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiancé and fianceé, he would not say a word. He explained, “I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.”
