The outlet, famous for its Bloomberg Billionaires Index, revealed that Taylor’s total net worth has skyrocketed to a jaw-dropping $1.1 billion. This remarkable achievement can be attributed to her record-breaking Eras tour which not only captivated audiences worldwide but also played a significant role in boosting the US economy during the summer.
The outlet noted that the 33-year-old is among a few artists to have hit 10 figures solely on the back of her music and performing. Taylor Swift’s 53 Eras Tour concerts this year contributed $4.3 billion to the country’s gross domestic product alone. While various estimates of her earnings from her tour exist, Bloomberg’s analysis relies on assets and earnings confirmed by publicly available data. That includes her music catalogue, which is valued at $400 million, an additional $370 million comes from ticket sales and merchandise, and her streaming earnings from platforms like Spotify and YouTube are $120 million. It was noted that her highly successful Eras tour alone collected over $700 million from ticket sales. What else is included is her 5 properties which collectively cost $110 million.
