Taylor Swift Fans Convinced Singer Called Kanye West A Clown On “Peace”

Ever since Kanye West jumped on that 2009 MTV Video Music Awards stage, he and Taylor Swift have been (un)seemingly throwing jabs at one another. Now, fans of the singer are convinced that she called the Chicago rapper a clown on her new single “Peace.”

Arriving off of her new album ‘Folklore,’ the track in question has now caught social media’s attention, to the point where they believe she snuck in a diss to Kanye. On the single, Taylor sings, “But there’s robbers to the east / Clowns to the West.” Additionally, in the lyric video and on Apple Music, the word “east” is left lowercase, while the “W” in “west” is capitalized.

Subsequently, fans have speculated that the popstar low-key snuffed the rapper. While one user says, “Let’s take a moment to talk about how Taylor said: „clowns to the West” in Peace 😂 I wonder if it’s a coincidence or if she really snapped and called Kanye and his fan clowns #folklore,” another says, “The way Taylor Swift said in peace “robbers to the east, clowns to the West.” Notice how “east” is in small caps while “West” is in capital letters. She’s defintely referencing Kanye West I’m screamingggg #Folklore.”
