Taraji P. Henson Reveals Why She’s Pushing Back Her Wedding

Taraji P Henson is off the market, but, she isn’t in a rush to say, “I do.”

The Empire star, 49, sat down with Extra and revealed that she pushed back her wedding to NFL star Kelvin Hayden. The pair got engaged May 2018, but, the reason she is pushing it back has nothing to do with their relationship, but Mother Nature!

“I mentioned one date. It was 4/4/20 and we were really going to do it 4/4/20, but my wedding planner was like, ‘Okay, in case it rains, we’ll have umbrellas’…and I was like, ‘You know what, never mind about April, let’s move it later,’ ” she said.

Tarji kept quiet about her new wedding date, but she didn’t hide her excitement!

“I am excited. I usually don’t get excited until it’s closer to me. It still seems so far off,” she added.
