Looks like Tamar Braxton took the time to address a fan who claimed she didn’t do anything during a pride party that she was booked to host.
On Sunday, a woman tagged Tamar on Twitter and said “we were excited to see you for pride! And you did nothing! You didn’t even want to interact with anyone…we bought stage tickets to see you! And you did nothing..sat there and was giving mean girl vibes fr you could of stayed tf home fr..”
After Tamar caught wind of the viral tweet she responded to the fan saying, I’m so confused. I HOSTED a pride party. I wasn’t there to sing..or I would have..I wasn’t there to take pictures…but I did that..I wasn’t there to start a twerking competition but I did that…I don’t drink much anymore…but I did that with people on STAGE..& called people up and took shots w/ people I don’t know!! what did you want me to do pumpkin? pull up and ask you do you have survival insurance?”
One fan jumped in the comments showing footage of Tamar actually interacting with fans. “The way this girl just lied on @ Tamar Braxton like that. She actually did more than any other celebrity would.”
According to the flyer it seems Tamar was only there to host but from videos surfacing online it seems like hosted the party and did a little bit more. The fan has yet to respond but people who were at the event seem to defend the way Tamar went about hosting the party.
Other than this event it seems Tamar has been in good spirits after having a viral back and forth with Kandi Burruss on social media. As previously reported, Braxton appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” and revealed that the Instagram post she shared about getting into a quarrel with a certain housewife and her husband was, in fact, about Burruss and her partner, Todd Tucker. Ever since then, the two have been making not-so-nice remarks about each other on social media, to the point where Burruss’ cousin, Akbar V, decided to chime in.
In a post shared to her Twitter, she tweeted, “I been chilling but y’all about to stop playing with my cousin and that’s just that […] we forgot she’s the most paid also,” before tagging the “All The Way Home” singer. While it’s only natural to come to your family member’s defense, people on social media have been left puzzled as to why Akbar has turned their feud into talks about who’s making more money. Whatever the case may be, the constant back-and-forth is clearly weighing hard on Braxton, who returned to Twitter, telling fans just how much she seems to have been affected by the whole fiasco.
