Tamar Braxton ‘Alert & Responsive’ After Alleged Suicide Attempt, Moved To New Hospital For Mental Health Treatment
Per The Blast, following her alleged suicide attempt, Tamar Braxton is “alert and responsive,” and has been moved to a new hospital, where she’ll receive more specialized mental health treatment.
Sources say the songstress is awake and alert after being rushed to the closest hospital last Friday after her boyfriend, David Adefeso found her “unconscious” and “unresponsive.” Upon her arrival, doctors were able to stabilize her, and confirmed she would need additional treatment.

Over the weekend, Braxton was transferred to another hospital, which boasts top specialists in the field of mental health treatment, including anxiety, depression and sexual assault trauma. A source tells the publication, “Tamar has been transferred to another facility for further evaluation and treatment. Out of respect for Tamar’s privacy and that of her family, no additional information is available at this time.”
Additionally, Braxton’s team has shared their gratitude to friends and fans flooding her and her family with messages. They say, “The outpouring of support that Tamar has received is a testament to the light that she brings to people.”
