During a recent episode of her podcast “At This Big Age,” Tahiry Jose, former Love and Hip Hop star, shared her heartfelt journey of freezing her eggs and the emotional rollercoaster she has been on.
Opening up to co-host Dnay B, Tahiry revealed the challenges she faced during the process of freezing her eggs in 2021. She described it as a rough situation, especially since she had to go through it alone. Tahiry — age 44, according to Google — expressed her struggles, saying, “God put me in a situation where I was able to do it alone, and it was a really hard thing to do by yourself. My eggs are in the freezer somewhere, and as a Latina— an Afro Latina— explaining this to my 86-year-old grandmother she thought there was something wrong with me… because at this big age, I’m supposed to have kids, be married, or have an unsuccessful relationship somewhere; a divorce, but then have kids — like what’s wrong with Tahiry?”
The pressure to conform to societal expectations weighed heavily on Tahiry, as she shared, “And now, I feel like I’m in a rush.”

More On Tahiry Jose And Her Past Relationships:
Fans of L&HH: NY can recall the wild and awkward moment when rapper-turned podcaster Joe Budden proposed to her on national TV in front of millions of people only to be rejected by Tahiry.
Since then, fans haven’t seen the entrepreneur publicly with a new partner. However, she did admit on the podcast that she’s been dating and having long term relationships.
Now, despite that rollercoaster ride of a relationship with Budden, who she revealed was allegedly abusive during their time together — she didn’t come off as bitter when he finally moved on with Cyn Santana. In fact, when she became pregnant in 2017 by Budden, Tahiry offered her well wishes. She said at the time,
“I’m sooo happy for them,” she said while responding to a few comments. “I’m genuinely happy for them. We have NO beef. I forgot ya’ll like messy sh*t. And don’t know us. Or my heart. FOH. Pls stop tryin to make it into what’s not.” Shutting down the drama! Love it!
