Trick Daddy Reacts To The Beyhive Backlash After Dissing Beyoncé: “I’m More Afraid Of Roaches Than Bees”

Most of us know that the Beyhive does not play when it comes to their Queen Beyoncé but Trick Daddy had to learn that the hard way.

As we previously reported, the rapper and Love & Hip-Hop star received a lot of heat this week for hopping on Clubhouse and claiming Beyoncé is someone who could “can barely sing” and doesn’t write her own songs. Although it was his personal opinion, Beyonce fans were just not having it.

Trick later hopped on his radio to explain why he felt that way. He explained, “What I said was I don’t think Beyoncé can sing and Beyoncé is to R&B what JAY-Z is to the state of hip-hop in New York at the time when JAY-Z considered himself as the king of hip-hop,” said Trick Daddy. “Which is my opinion. And opinions are like buttholes: without ’em, you’d be full of doodoo.” He continued to explain himself, saying he was sharing an “unpopular opinion.” In a recent interview with Marc Lamont Hill, Trick shared his reaction to all the backlash from the Beyhive and even delivered a little message for them.

He said, “Good support man… good sh*t y’all doing. But I grew up with roaches. I’m more afraid of roaches than bees.”

Trick Daddy Stands By His Comments About Beyoncé & Jay-Z Despite Backlash: “Did I Say Anything Disrespectful? No”

As we previously reported, Trick Daddy is not everyone’s favorite person right now after he dissed Beyoncé and her hubby, Jay-Z.

After claiming on Clubhouse that Beyonce is someone who could “can barely sing” and doesn’t write her own songs, the Beyhive lit his tale up all over social media. Even some celebs criticized the reality star for his comments while others have shown support for the iconic singer.

Now, despite all of that, Trick Daddy is still standing by all that he said. During his latest 99Jamz show, Trick explained that he doesn’t feel like he said anything wrong or disrespectful. Here’s what he had to say:

“What I said was I don’t think Beyoncé can sing and Beyoncé is to R&B what JAY-Z is to the state of hip-hop in New York at the time when JAY-Z considered himself as the king of hip-hop,” said Trick Daddy. “Which is my opinion. And opinions are like buttholes: without ’em, you’d be full of doodoo.” He continued to explain himself, saying he was sharing an “unpopular opinion.”

“That’s my opinion. I’ve said many times on the radio that they’re wonderful businesspeople. Jigga made a lot of money, he got a whole lotta money. But did I say anything disrespectful? No. Did I call them out they names? No, I didn’t,” said Trick. “But before I said that, because a lot of females love Beyoncé, I said she’s the lady Jesus Christ to them, which is not a bad thing. Actually, that’s a compliment ’cause Jesus Christ was a powerful and lovable person. But if you got a problem with speaking your own mind, I apologize.”

Trick Daddy Reportedly Strikes Plea Deal Following Cocaine, DUI Arrest

It looks like Trick Daddy can put his latest case behind him. According to TMZ, the entertainer took a plea deal in his Miami bust for cocaine possession and driving under the influence.

The District Attorney’s Office tells the news site that as part of the deal, he plead guilty to possession of cocaine and is getting credit for time served. In exchange, the DUI charge was dropped.

As we previously reported, the rapper and reality star was arrested last year after being pulled over in Miami. Bodycam footage showed his bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. In the clip, he admitted to having a few drinks and later failed his sobriety test in a parking lot. Cops only found a trace amount of cocaine so he got a very low level, third-degree felony. The D.A. tells TMZ he is not on probation either so the plea deal closes the case.

Trick’s attorney Harris Gilbert said in a statement: “As part of the plea he was also able to give back to the community he loves so much with a donation to Camillus House homeless shelter.”
