We had a chance to sit down with some of the cast and crew of Universal’s upcoming thriller Beast!
While getting ready for the film, we spoke, to Sharlto Copley, Iyana Halley, Leah Sava Jeffries producer Will Packer and director Baltasar Kormákur.
While shooting in South Africa is an amazing experience, the stars and crew shared some moments that were scary, beautiful, and out of this world, and their interactions with real-life wild animals. While the movie sheds light on one family’s struggle against the Beast, we can also view things from the perspective of where the world is now and how the Beast is a metaphor for what we are experiencing
Beast, which premieres on August 19, follows Elba’s Dr. Nate Samuels and his two daughters, Norah (Leah Jeffries) and Meredith (Iyana Halley), who embark on a trip to South Africa and are confronted by a bloodthirsty lion on the run from poachers.
