T.I. Fires Back At ‘Extortion-Minded’ Sexual Assault Accusers On New Song “What It’s Come To,” Raps ‘I Keep None Against They Will’
While facing a mounting criminal investigation in New York City and Los Angeles alongside his wife Tiny Harris (real name Tameka Harris), T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) has released a new song, “What It’s Come To,” where he fires back at his and Tiny’s “extortion-minded” sexual assault accusers. Hours before the song’s release, T.I. shared a snippet to his social media, including the lyrics to a few lines on the track. However, once the full version dropped, listeners got an earful as the rapper pleads his innocence against the claims and revisits his past, including his arrest for weapons at the height of his career, his time in prison and his comeback.
While addressing his accusers, the Atlanta rapper spits in the first verse: “People weird, be projecting all they insecurities / Whatever they say he did, he did, that sh*t i’m f**king sure of it / Behind the foreign cars, clothes and expensive jewelry / I got a heart made of gold, motives behind the purest / They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned / F**k that I’m cranking up the jury, who you lying on, shawty / Extortion, ain’t that what you got your mind on, shawty / Tell ’em get it how you live, shawty, I ain’t going for it / I’mma take it all the way, every day of the week / Bet you thought that sh*t was sweet and I would pay in a week … Go put yo face and reputation on it / These kind of claims deserve more than anonymous, provocative conversation don’t it / They say let’s hit him with the one-two / You see how many other n***as this been done to.”
