SZA Claps Back With Receipts
SZA is clapping back at Nicki Minaj—and she’s bringing receipts.
The stars’ ongoing online feud heated up again Wednesday night after Nicki fired off a series of tweets and audio rants insulting SZA, calling her “MZA,” and claiming she doesn’t “know one of [her] motherf—king songs.”
Welp, SZA wasn’t having it. She fired back directly at Nicki on X, writing:
“Nicki. You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response. In addition to rapping my lyrics on ‘Feeling Myself’ — ‘Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo’? Lol ur having a moment .. I’m not sure why but be blessed.”
Nicki, who’s usually quick with a clapback online, has yet to respond to the “Kill Bill” singer’s post—but you know she will, probably before lunch.

How The Hell Did We Get Here?
This whole thing kicked off earlier this week when the “Roman’s Revenge” rapper jumped on X and accused Terrence “Punch” Henderson, president of Top Dawg Entertainment, of bullying her.
She tweeted:
“lol. Yall remember that man from TDE who kept bullying me on Twitter for no reason? We have the receipts. lol. I never even responded to him. What was his name again, yall? I’m going to give him a nickname. Ima call him ‘Minus 30 million’ from now on. #JusticeForDemoree”
That same day, SZA posted a tweet that seemed unrelated—but hit a nerve anyway:
“Mercury retrograde .. don’t take the bait lol silly goose.”
From there, things spiraled. Nicki lit into SZA with a stream of tweets and voice posts—calling her career “forgettable,” dragging her accomplishments, and questioning her global reach.
Nicki Goes Off—And It Gets Real Personal
Nicki didn’t hold back. She compared SZA’s success to her own and flat-out said the industry wouldn’t even notice if SZA disappeared.
“Wait. Does SZA think she’s more successful than me? Lol yall catch me up pls,” Nicki tweeted. “SZA if every song you’ve ever done vanished right now the music business wouldn’t even miss you. I’ve been to countries that never heard of you. I know you’re not THAT stupid are you? Stadiums? Did you look at the venues I played on my OWN headlined FESTIVAL tour out of the country last year? B—h have you ever headlined to 80K ppl? Btch what have you ever done besides yodel with auto tune that needed retuning?”
She went on to say:
“Boo I’m an icon. You’re not. The end. Pay that man for almost breaking his back… You the type that would’ve been quiet in school trying to fit in. You still have no clue who you are!”
Old Tweets, New Drama
Nicki dug even deeper, resurfacing alleged old tweets from SZA dissing Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Ciara.
“Btch used to be on Twitter dissing Rihanna, Ci, etc.” she wrote. “Allegedly. Like b—h stop being jealous of women who you secretly would kill to be up their a— holes.”
SZA clapped back then too saying:
“I don’t give a fck bout none of that weird sht you popping…”
At this point, the drama’s reached a boiling point and clearly—neither of them is backing down.
