As we’ve reporting, there has been a dangerous new craze taking over concerts and festivals where wild fans are seen throwing objects at performers, and actually hurting them. Back in the day, if a fan were to throw anything at their favorite celebrity on stage, it’d be kisses, flowers, panties, bras, but now fans are getting wild.

Fans are now seen throwing: ashes (see P!nk); sex toys (see Lil Nas X); cell phones (see Bebe Rexha); drinks (see Cardi B); etc. The craze has gotten completely out of hand and even led to performers like Adele to issue out a warning to fans who ever tried to attempt “throwing sh*t on stage.” She called out the crazed fans and threatened anyone, “I f**king dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f**king kill you.”

Since all of the fan-throwing hoopla, Alicia Keys, who is on her ‘Keys to the Summer’ tour, recently had some pint-sized protection from fans while she performed on stage at a show in Seattle, Washington on Sunday (July 30). While she’s on tour, Keys has been accompanied by her family, which is something she is grateful for.

Speaking with ET, she previously said, “Fortunately it’s in the summer, so my family gets to come and hang out with me and and that’s the best because we do fun things in different cities. Because you want them to experience it and that’s really beautiful. So I love that. They like the road, they’re having a ball. I do have pictures in my room and just keep the element of love around me.”

Now, in viral clips of Keys’ performance in Washington, viewers see the mom-of-two-boys on stage singing and playing a piano as her youngest son offered himself as an extra on-stage bodyguard, defending her from any possible fan-throwing incidents.

After his son stole the hearts of everyone by acting as his mom’s bodyguard, Swizz Beatz, born Kasseem Daoud Dean, took to his Instagram to send his baby boy praises. He said, “He heard how people been acting at shows lately. My boy serious in real life.”

The super-producer added, “My boy said I’m not playing no games on moms stage 😂😂😂😂 He a real serious one 😂 Thank you Gen we love you and your protection 😂 He didn’t care she was live on stage 😂😂😂😂.”
