Suspected Senior Prank Finds Students Listing Their Maryland High School For Sale On Zillow For $42,000

Some seniors at Meade Senior High School, located at 1100 Clark Road in Fort Meade, Maryland, may have pulled off one of the most outrageous senior pranks in history.

According to reports, the students are suspected of listing their school on the online real estate marketplace Zillow for $42,069 on Tuesday (May 23).

Per the fake listing on the realty site, the massive property, measuring at 12,458 square feet, comes fully loaded with 15 full bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and dining room, an unfinished basement, a private study, a private basketball court, and multi-use turf field, plus 100 parking spots.

The unknown, suspected senior prankster also wrote, “This nice half working jail is on sale for a steal!!! All 15 bathrooms come with sewage issues!!”

They continued, “The school also comes with dangerous unfinished sections that could cost you your life!!! Your neighbors are rodents and insects that will make you squeal!! (In fear). The school comes with complementary trash scented air fresheners and water issues.”

The phony listing also said that the property was “for sale by the owner,” and it proceeded to list a phone number that directed any potential buyers to the main line at the Meade Senior High School.

After the fake listing, suspected as a senior prank, made its way online, a spokesperson for Anne Arundel County Public Schools, Bob Mosier, has applauded the creative prank.

Mosier said, “This is incredibly creative advertising, but we are stunned that the listers so vastly underestimated the value of this prime real estate with amazing amenities. Potential buyers surely will be flocking to snap this deal up, right? This won’t be on the market for long.”

Additionally, on Wednesday (May 31), a spokesperson at Zillow told Fox News Digital, “We love a fun listing here at Zillow — we even have one for the White House. And while you can’t actually Zillow an operating high school, you can find and finance other properties with some of those same amenities, like a spacious dining room or a private basketball court.”

Meanwhile, it is reported that there isn’t any real evidence to fully prove that the phony listing was a senior prank, however many locals believe that is the case.

Furthermore, Meade Senior High School’s Class of 2023 is due to graduate on Thursday, June 8. Congrats!
