A homeless man was arrested Saturday for randomly attacking actor Rick Moranis last month in New York City.

35-year-old Marquis Ventura was spotted by a Transit Bureau sergeant at 96th street and arrested him for last month’s attack. He was taken to Central Booking and is expected to be arraigned Sunday in Manhattan Criminal Court. Investigators reported that Ventura has more than a dozen arrests and was recently arrested for attacking a bystander at the West 4 Street subway station two weeks after the Moranis attack.

The victim also suffered from similar injuries that Moranis sustained during the attack. His friend tried to intervene, Ventura allegedly bit on the man’s hand and fled the scene.

Ventura was also charged for an attack on a 23-year-old woman in the Bronx after he asked her for money on the No.5 train on April 13.
