Summer Walker Calls Out Black Contractor For Allegedly Taking $8K From Her And Leaving Her House A Mess: “It Be Your Own People”
Summer walker is “Over It!”
The singer took to social media on Tuesday to blast a contractor who she claims took $8K from her, left her house a mess, and did not complete any renovations to her home.
Summer shared Duluth’s business profile and explained that the only reason why she’s posting this is “to help anyone in ATL who may have contacted this person in hopes of renovating their home.” She added, “he’s stolen 8 thousand dollars of my money and left my house a hot mess not completing any of the work. It be your own people. I kept trying to resolve this until I seen [him] in Buckhead, grinning, shopping prolly spending up my own money but won’t return any of my phone calls. I’ve been super nice to him until now & know he can’t afford to go to court so just warning anyone else out there who could potentially become a victim.”
In another post, Summer went on to say that she always supports Black business owners but is ultimately disappointed with Duluth’s service and how he allegedly left her daughter’s room a “mess.”
Before ending, Summer noted that she was referred to him by a friend but went on to encourage her fans to “beware.”
