Araceli Sotelo was working at Rockford, IL Subway this past weekend when a man walked in the store and flashed a gun at her. The man was demanding for her to give him the money from the store.
Luckily the store cameras were running, and somehow the footage was leaked to the local Rockford Scanner. Later the video was surfacing all over facebook.
In the video you can see the woman screaming for the guy to leave and stop. You can see a slight tussle between the two. The woman actually got the upper hand on the man and knocks the gun loose.
After tearing the robber’s sweater off she got a hold of the gun and knocked him in the head! Then the man runs out the store, unfortunately he still stole her purse.

You would think the manager would be glad things didn’t end up being worst. It seems he is more upset that the video is on the internet. According to Sotelo, the manager reached out to her after the event took place and said she can’t work or get paid until the video is erased off the internet. Sotelo denies being the one that leaked it, but its going to be pretty tough to have it scrubbed off the internet now, being that the video has gone viral.
