Stormy Daniels is reflecting on the time she allegedly “spanked” Donald Trump “right on the butt” while speaking in court on Tuesday.

During her testimony in New York City at the hush money trial involving former president Donald Trump, Stormy Daniels revealed that she gave him a spank on the butt for being rude during their initial encounter. The porn star, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, recounted an incident from their alleged hotel rendezvous in 2006 when Trump showed her a magazine with his face on it instead of allowing her to eat dinner as she had wanted. “I pretty much had enough of his arrogance and cutting me off and still not getting my dinner,” Daniels stated while also adding that Trump didn’t know how to hold a conversation.

“Someone should spank you with that,” she recalled saying while speaking about the magazine which caused the former president to give her a “look,” seemingly as a dare. “So I took it from him and I said turn around, and I swatted him right on the butt,” she told jurors. “And he was much more polite.” NBC News reported that after former stripper made those comments it caused some jurors to laugh. “One woman was seen rubbing her face while trying to hold back laughter (without making noise),” the outlet reported.

Donald Trump is currently on trial in New York City on criminal charges arising from alleged hush money paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to avoid a scandal ahead of the 2016 U.S. election.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, had arranged a payment of $130,000 to Daniels in exchange for her signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that prevented her from discussing the alleged affair publicly.

Daniels later filed a lawsuit seeking to invalidate the NDA, claiming that it was invalid because Trump himself had never signed it. The lawsuit also alleged that Cohen had defamed her by insinuating that she had lied about the affair.

The scandal surrounding the alleged affair and the hush money payment made headlines and raised questions about potential campaign finance violations, as the payment was made just weeks before the election. Cohen ultimately pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations related to the payment, stating that he had acted at the direction of Trump.
