During an interview with DailyMailTv, the “Clueless” star issued an apology for her comments regarding the 2017 Charlottesville rallies along with defending Trump’s stance on immigration and her controversial plea to end Black History Month for good. However, Dash revealed that during her time on Fox News, they cast her as the “angry Black woman” due to her outspoken political views at the time.
