Southwest Airlines Passenger Arrested After Biting A Woman Trying To Stop Her From Opening Plane Door Mid-Flight; Claims ‘Jesus Told Me To Open It’

During the incident, she even bit a fellow passenger trying to stop her! According to the complaint, the suspect told the woman she bit that “Jesus told her to fly to Ohio, and Jesus told her to open the plane door.”

On Saturday, November 26, the pilots flying on Southwest Airlines Flight 192 — from Houston, Texas to Columbus, Ohio — were forced to make an emergency landing in Little Rock, Arkansas.

This all because a 34 year old woman, named Elom Agbegninou, tried to pull the handle of the door exit at the rear of the aircraft during the flight.

Flight attendants aboard the plane claim the aircraft was flying at 37,000 feet when Agbegninou walked to the back of the plane and just “stared” at the exit door.

They says she proceeded to ask multiple crew members if she could stare out of one of the windows ner the flight attendant’s jumpseat. When several employees told her no, she allegedly shoved one of them, and began yanking at the exit door handle before she was eventually restrained.

During the incident, Agbegninou even bit another passenger who tried to help restrain her. Court documents say that the passenger overheard someone say, “She’s trying to open the door.”

So she ran to the back of the plane and pinned Agbegninou down to the ground. Then the suspect bit her on the thigh and continued to hold on until flight attendants “worked their fingers up to [her] jawline in an attempt have [her] release the bite, which she eventually did.”

Once the plane made its emergency landing at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Agbegninou was immediately taken into custody by local law enforcement.

Meanwhile, the female passenger who was bitten in the leg by Agbegninou was taken to a local hospital and administrated treatment. Reports reveal she now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety following the incident.
