Soulja Boy has found out he has to pay his ex-girlfriend Kayla Meyers a whopping $235K after losing a civil lawsuit she filed against him, accusing the rapper of hitting her across the head with a gun. According to Radar Online, a Los Angeles jury gave the verdict on Friday, which stated that Meyers would be awarded $1,800 for expenses pertaining to mental health and another $234k in mental and physical suffering.

For those who aren’t aware, Meyers filed the lawsuit against Soulja and his female assistant, Tevin Anderson, over an incident that unfolded at a house party in Malibu back in February 2019.

In the filed court documents, Meyers said she had gotten into a dispute with one of Soulja’s assistants before he allegedly inserted himself into the mix of things and physically assaulted her with a gun. Per the docs, Soulja was accused of continuing to beat Meyers by repeatedly punching her in the face and telling his assistant to have her tied up with duct tape.

After being held hostage for six hours, during which time she was also showered to clean up her wounds, Meyers reached a deal with Anderson that she would be freed if she agreed to perform a sex act on Soulja. When she was finally let go, she wasted no time in calling the police, who raided the rapper’s home, where they found an array of weapons that violated a probation Soulja had been on.

Surprisingly enough, however, he was never charged for the alleged incident. The Atlanta native had denied any wrongdoing and asked a judge to dismiss the case because was done by “third parties,” but a jury had viewed things differently.

This is not the first time Soulja Boy has been accused of getting physical with a former girlfriend.

In 2015, Nia Riley accused Soulja Boy of physical abuse. She claimed that he had punched and kicked her during an argument. She also alleged that he had threatened to kill her and had dragged her by her hair. The incident reportedly took place in Soulja Boy’s home in Los Angeles. Nia Riley filed a police report and obtained a restraining order against him.

In 2019, Riley had once again accused Soulja Boy of assaulting her. She claimed that he had punched her in the face and caused her to have a broken nose. She posted pictures of her injuries on social media and filed another police report. Soulja Boy denied the allegations and claimed that Nia Riley was lying.

Soulja Boy and Nia Riley began dating in 2014. They appeared on the reality show “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” together and seemed to have a loving relationship. However, their relationship quickly became tumultuous. In 2015, the first allegations of abuse surfaced. After that, they had an on-again, off-again relationship for several years. In 2019, Nia Riley made the second set of allegations and filed for a restraining order.
