A woman was reportedly shot in the clitoris after a stray bullet entered her home while she was sitting in her living room.

After the bullet pierced her living room ceiling, the 24-year-old Somali woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment. CT scans confirmed that the bullet was lodged inside her clitoris after being discharged into her vulva, according to the Daily Mail. The date of the incident was not revealed by doctors at the Erdoğan Hospital in Mogadishu. Medics also said the surgery had no complications, and the woman was discharged the following day. The woman had a follow-up appointment a month later, and her doctor said there were no further complications.
