Soho Karen,’ Who Attacked Black Teen Over Phone, Snaps At Gayle King During Interview

Soho Karen clearly has a temper because she just snapped at Gayle King during an interview about her actions where she attacked a young black teen at a hotel lobby in New York.

Just hours prior to her arrest in Ventura County, California, the woman who assaulted a Black teen for allegedly stealing her iPhone in a Soho hotel, appeared on CBS This Morning to explain her actions. After doing a pretty bad job of admitting her wrongdoings, she got angry and snapped “enough” at Gayle King.

“Alright, Gayle. Enough,” Miya Ponsetto said after King said that the 22-year-old woman was “old enough to know better.”

During her interview, she claimed that she is not racist and doesn’t think this one mistake should define her, however, she failed to take the appropriate accountability and even accused the teen’s father of attacking her, where surveillance footage clearly shows otherwise.

“I was approaching the people that had been exiting the hotel because in my mind, anybody exiting is probably the one, might be the one that is trying to steal my phone,” she said. “I admit, yes, I could have approached the situation differently, or maybe not yelled at him like that and made him feel, you know, maybe some sort of inferior way, making him feel as if I was, like, hurting his feelings, because that’s not my intention.”

“I consider myself to be super sweet,” she claimed.

The phone was later returned to the hotel by an Uber.

Shortly after the interview Ponsetto was “wanted for assault in New York” and arrested on a fugitive warrant. She is currently awaiting extradition.
