Social Media Resurfaces Image Of Prince William Being Carried On Throne By Black Citizens in 2012

Social media has done some digging into the Royal Family following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Images of Prince William and his wife have resurfaced online of the couple sitting on thrones that are being carried by black citizens of the Soloman Islands, which is a former British colony. This comes after William said that the Royals were “very much not a racist family.”

Per Newsweek, William and Kate were on their Diamond Jubilee tour of the British Commonwealth nations in the South Pacific in 2012. They were carried by people of color numerous times during the tour. Many claim these are traditions, however, after recent revelations it looks otherwise.

Now, the images have been brought back to light after Meghan expressed that there was concern over how dark her child’s skin color would be. Oprah confirmed that these comments were not made by Prince Philip or The Queen.

“The relationship is space at the moment,” Harry said og his relationship with William. “Time heals all things, hopefully.”

When questioned on whether he had spoken to his brother since the interview, he said, “No, I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will do.”
