Social Media Reacts: Washington High School Band Students Practice In COVID-Safe Bubbles

Social media is having a field day after photos emerge of high school band students in Washington State practicing in COVID-safe bubbles.

While some schools have permitted students to learn online, some have allowed in-person learning, keeping in mind COVID-19 safety regulations, like social distancing. Well, at Wenatchee High School, its students have been back on campus since January 26, with a hybrid schedule in place.

Recently, a couple photos of students in band practice have gone viral; as they show the band kids with their instruments in these mini bright-green tents. As some students can squeeze their music stands and instruments inside the enclosures to practice, others are seen barely fitting everything in, squished inside, trying to practice — like Juan Cruz who tries to play his 35-pound sousaphone. Subsequently, the comics across social media have spoken out.
