A lot of social media users on X feel like Jeezy should’ve been had a Tiny Desk performance but regardless of the timing the rapper put on an amazing show. Last year, Jeezy dropped his 13th studio album, I Might Forgive…But I Don’t Forget. He also released a book which was titled “Adversity For Sale” a few months before the release of the album. “I didn’t understand trauma and all these different things, so when I started to get the words for it, I started to understand and grab tools, I started to become better,” Jeezy previously shared while speaking to Tamron Hall. “I started on my journey, and that’s why I’m expressing it and putting it in the book because I didn’t know I was depressed for like eight years of my life straight.”

Jeezy’s journey to success began in the streets of Atlanta, where he was involved in the drug trade and hustling to make ends meet. He eventually turned to music as a way to escape his troubled past and express himself creatively. In the early 2000s, Jeezy joined a group called Boyz n da Hood, which helped him gain some recognition in the music industry.
