Social media has gone into a frenzy after Gabrielle Union revealed she splits the bills with her husband, Dwyane Wade during a recent interview with Bloomberg.

In the viral clip Union opens up about her anxiety with her finances. “I think I just have more responsibilities for my money so I get nervous like oh God that movie didn’t open, well what does that mean? Am I going to have enough to hold everybody up and everyones like it’s coming calm down. And I’m trying to find peace in the journey and not using my anxiety and scarcity mindset to be my engine, which is hard. It’s weird to say I’m head of household because in this household we split everything 50/50.”

After the clip made rounds on social media Unions name quickly became trending on Twitter. One twitter user weighed in on the viral discussion and said, “What Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade do wit their kids, their bills or their private parts ain’t got a muthafu*kin thing to do with not a one of y’all. So why is it sparking discussion!? Black people there are so many other things we need to DISCUSS n other ppl bizness aint IT”

As we previously reported, Union opened up in the same interview about her first hit movie ‘Bring It On’ and how the filmmakers shot fake scenes to make it seem like the black people were in the trailer more.

“The Clovers were only in like a third of the movie, and when they started showing it to test audiences, The Clovers tested through the roof,” Union explained to Noah Callahan-Bever on the latest episode of Bloomberg’s original series “Idea Generation.”

“They were like, ‘We need more with The Clovers but we can’t add it to the movie,’” Union continued. “We’re going to shoot scenes, fake scenes, that will only be in the trailer to create the illusion that it was like a 50-50 movie. But what’s interesting is, the people spoke. When the people spoke, they were like OK we got to deliver on – at least fake deliver. And the rest is kind of history. It’s wild to me.”
