Looks like there might be a new couple on the block! According to TMZ, video footage shows French Montana and Rubi Rose kicking it on what seems to be a date night.
In the video you can see the two rappers holding hands leaving Mr. Chow’s restaurant in Beverly Hills after a romantic dinner date. Sources close to them reportedly confirmed with TMZ that Rubi is definitely French’s “new girlfriend” The source wasn’t clear on how long they have been seeing each other but did say, they’re past the “getting to know you” phase.
Fans on Twitter were pretty shocked that these two have linked together after the public back and forth with Rubi Rose and her ex boyfriend DDG who is currently in a relationship with Halle Bailey.
As we previously reported, Rubi Rose let off a big bomb last month when she exposed DDG for sliding in her DM’s while he was going through an argument with Halle Bailey. The drama started when fans noticed Halle was allegedly wearing the same T-shirt Rose had previously worn while she and the rapper were together back in 2020. Rose confirmed the shirt was hers and called her former boo a “weirdo.”
“Having ur bi*ch where my clothes is crazy lol,” she wrote on Twitter, adding: “I like Halle, Ddg a weirdo tho fasho.”
Rose then took it a step further by posting a screenshot of an alleged DM exchange with DDG from earlier that week, in which he asked her if she was still in Los Angeles. “U hitting me the day y’all argue is so u lol,” Rose responded, to which DDG replied: “lol u right, lemme go heal first.”
“This is why I’m single,” Rose added in her caption. DDG quickly covered his tracks and responded to Rubi publicly saying, “Ik it looks bad but it ain’t what it seem stg,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “that bi*ch just evil.”
He added: “Everything is good internally. This whole situation was foreshadowed. I know everybody want me to be the bad guy but I’m really not…CGI .. don’t believe that DEMON!! I REBUKE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!!”
Things didn’t work out between Rubi and DDG but maybe it’ll end in a better way for her and French! #Socialites are we here for this new couple?
