Social media is having a ball with Britney Spears‘ new memoir that dropped today called ‘The Woman in Me.’ In addition to the many headlines that have already gone viral, we are now learning that Britney’s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, 42, allegedly once put on a blaccent for R&B singer Ginuwine, 53.

As mentioned, on Tuesday (October 24), Britney debuted her new memoir, but ahead of the book hitting shelves, we’ve already learned so many things about the 41-year-old singer, like her admitting to cheating on her fellow superstar boyfriend Justin Timberlake, him allegedly cheating on her first, them allegedly getting pregnant and having an abortion, her allegedly having an affair with Colin Farrell, her denying being a homewrecker to Shar Jackson and Kevin Federline, and much more.

Coupled with the physical release of Britney’s memoir is an audiobook, read by Emmy Award-winning actress Michelle Williams. In a snippet that has been going viral on social media, Michelle hilariously reads a moment when Britney claims Justin faked a blaccent (or “Black accent”) during an encounter with Ginuwine.

Britney claims JT, and the rest of his *NSYNC bandmates, were transfixed by Hip-Hop and made it a point to surround themselves with Black artists; however, Britney says they often “tried too hard to fit in.”

Michelle, via Britney, narrates, “[Justin’s] band *NSYNC was what people back then called ‘so pimp.’ They were white boys, but they loved Hip-Hop. To me, that’s what separated them from the Backstreet Boys, who seemed very conscious to position themselves as a white group.”

Britney then recalls an experience she had with JT and Ginuwine while in New York City. She said during the run-in with the “Pony” singer, JT got a little too excited and awkwardly began speaking in slang and ebonics toward the R&B legend.

Michelle, via Britney, narrates, “One day, [Justin] and I were in New York, going to parts of town that I’d never been to before. Walking our way was a guy wearing a huge blinged-out medallion. He was flanked by two giant security guards. [Justin] got all excited and said so loud, ‘Oh yeah. Fo’ shizz. Fo’ shizz. Ginuwine what’s up homie?’”

She adds, “After Ginuwine walked away, Felicia did an impression of [Justin], ‘Oh yeah. Fo’ shizz. Fo’ shizz. Ginuwine…’ [Justin] wasn’t even embarrassed. He just took it and looked at her like, ‘F**k you.'”

As the snippet continues to go viral, social media has been having a ball with the clip, with many roasting JT and others laughing at Michelle’s dramatic impersonation.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) said, “I gagged when it was revealed who Justin Timberlake was throwing on a blaccent for.” Another wrote, “Not Justin Timberlake putting on a blaccent for Ginuwine. I NEED to listen to the audiobook. I can see him doing that, especially with those cornrows on his head.”

A third person tweeted, “Justin Timberlake goin full wigga for Ginuwine is pretty wild, actually.” A fourth said, “(white) Michelle Williams doing an impression of Britney doing an impression of Justin Timberlake doing an impression of a Black person – this is art.”
