Social Media Goes Crazy After George Lopez Jokingly Accepts Iran’s Rumored $80M Bounty On Trump’s Head
As it was previously reported by The Daily Mail, an organizer for a funeral procession for General Qassem Soleimani called on all Iranians to donate at least $1 each “in order to gather an $80million bounty on President Donald Trump’s head.” It was a special request after Trump ordered an airstrike that killed Iran’s top general.

While that is pretty serious, of course, social media couldn’t help but to pick fun at the latest report about Donald Trump. Some social media users joked about accepting the bounty and a few influencers and celebs jumped in to sound off on the latest headline. Comedian George Lopez commented under one post about the $80M bounty and said, “We’ll do it for half.”
Some folks understood that it was a simple joke while others on Twitter took his comment seriously, with many urging the Secret Service to investigate Lopez for what they believe is a threat to Trump’s life… Charlie Kirk tweeted,
“RT if you believe the FBI and Secret Service should IMMEDIATELY arrest George Lopez for threatening to murder Trump in exchange for $40 million!” Another user, Joey Saladino also wrote, “Hollywood Libtards are crazy! I hope the FBI checks this out.” However, Lopez’s fans were quick to hit back. One fan said, “I’m reading [that] George Lopez [is] trending and I know yall didn’t say a word when Obama was literally threatened to be hanged on more than one occasion. Please, if we’re gonna have this be as serious as you guys are making it seem, please have the same energy when Dems get threatened.”
