On Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, Snoop Dogg described his version of events that took place hours after Tupac was shot four times at a stoplight in Las Vegas. “When we drive to Vegas to see Pac, we got to Suge’s house first, so we haven’t even seen Pac. We just talking to Suge, and he got the head wrapped up and he told us what happened and [saying] ‘Pac gonna be alright, he going to pull through he got shot nine times before he going to be alright.’” Snoop said to Logan Paul.

The rapper said he was shocked by Tupac’s injuries and fainted at that moment: “We feeling like it’s gonna be alright until we go to the hospital and see that it ain’t alright. He got tubes in him. When I walked in, I could just feel like he wasn’t even there and I fainted.”

According to Page Six, Afeni Shakur helped Snoop get back on his and encouraged him to visit the room again. “She was like, ‘My baby ain’t never seen you weak. I don’t want you to be weak in front of him. You go in the bathroom and fix yourself up and you go back in there and you talk to him and you tell him how you feel,’” he continued.

“She knew there was a little tension, but she knew how much we loved each other. So she gave us a moment for me to say some things to him as far as how much I love him. But I knew that that was gonna be my last time speaking with him.”

Six days later, Tupac died on September 13, 1996, due to respiratory failure.

Snoop also discussed his tensions with Tupac but as quoted previously, Afeni Shakur knew the men had a special bond together.

The rapper also did a speech for Shakur when he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

“While many of you remember him now as some kind of thugged-out superhero, Tupac knew he was only human. It’s a fact that he never shied away from—he wore it like a badge of honor. Pac embraced those contradictions that proved that we aren’t just a character in someone else’s comic book. To be human is to be many things.”

Snoop Dogg also talked about his last moments with Kobe Bryant and how he talked about raising his daughters plus how to be better fathers to our daughters. The rapper also discussed his feelings regarding the deaths of Nate Dog and Nipsey Hussle.
