Slain Mans Lawyer Says Onlyfans Model Courtney Tailor Is ‘Avoiding Accountability With Self-defense Claim

The lawyer who is representing Christian Obumseli, the man who was murdered in a Miami highrise by his OnlyFans model Courtney Tailor, is blasting her self-defense claim as ‘self-serving.’ adding that she is only claiming the defense to avoid any accountability in the attack.

“We believe that her statements are self-serving in an effort to avoid any accountability for using deadly force when no deadly force had been used against her,” Larry Handfield, a lawyer for Obumseli’s family, said to Fox News Digital. “Although the family is still mourning the untimely death of Mr. Obumseli, we believe that once a full investigation is done Ms. Clenney will be held to account for taking the life of Mr. Obumseli.”

As we reported, Christian Toby Obumseli was reportedly stabbed to death by his girlfriend Courtney Tailor, who has an OnlyFans and 2 million Instagram followers. Police are calling the incident a domestic dispute and Tailor was being held for a mental evaluation. She was pictured covered in his blood at the highrise after she allegedly stabbed him in the chest.

Tailor, whose real name is Courtney Clenney, is being represented by frank Prieto, and he vehemently claims that his client is a domestic violence survivor and that she had “no choice” but to defend herself against her boyfriend, who had no weapons and she had no self-defense wounds.

“Courtney was not arrested because it is a clear she was defending herself and was the victim of domestic violence,” Prieto said to Fox News. “As a former prosecutor with the Miami [State Attorney’s Office], the fact she has not been arrested or charged is indicative that the investigation has concluded she acted in self-defense.”

The victim’s brother, Jeffrey Obumseli, maintains that he believes his brother’s death was murder and that Courtney is responsible.

“Courtney still has yet to explain exactly what happened leading up to Toby’s murder,” he said on social media. “We have every reason to believe that his death was the result of unwarranted and unprovoked violence. We want to see that justice is served.”

Courtney was spotted having casual drinks at a bar after being released and she has not yet commented on what happened between she and her deceased boyfriend. There are also videos of her at the high rise where she appears to be covered in blood.
