Slain Cop Told Friend He Was Going On A Date, Prior To Being Shot Dead By Billionaire’s Daughter-In-Law

Recently we reported that the daughter-in-law of a British billionaire reportedly admitted to fatally shooting a Berlize cop with his service weapon.

Jasmine Hartin, who is married to Lord Ashcroft’s son, Andrew Ashcroft, initially claimed that San Pedro Superintendent Henry Jemmott had been fatally shot by a suspect who was passing by on a boat. She then claimed she accidentally shot him while she gave him a massage, and his body fell into the water.

However, per the Daily Mail, the Belizean cop who had reportedly confided in a friend about going on a date the night he was murdered. Jemmott also joked to his friend about taking the identity of the woman “to the grave.”

“I asked him where he was staying and he said Grand Colony. I said, what? You have money then?” the friend said to DailyMail.com.

Jemmott, 42, had also reportedly expressed that he was staying st the Grand Colony Villas for free. Ironically the luxury resort is owned and operated by Hartin’s husband Andrew Ashcroft, and his dad Lord Michael Ashcroft.

As we reported, Jemmott was shot in the head with a 9mm bullet from his own gun. Hartin claims it went off accidentally. Jemmott was found floating by the pier on his back. Both Hartin and the pier were covered in blood.

Jemmott, a father of five was pronounced dead. Hartin is currently facing manslaughter charges.
