While the organization claims to practice a harm reduction model and offers syringes and opioid overdose reversal drugs on its website, distributing free meth pipes has become controversial amongst homeless advocacy groups, who believe that such actions contribute to the drug addiction issue facing the homeless.

The Dream Center in Los Angeles offers transitional housing programs that provide trauma and drug addiction recovery, restored relationships, identity in Christ, life skills, and educational and vocational training for up to 555 people at a time.
