Simon Cowell Pulls Out Of Being ‘X Factor Israel’ Judge Amidst ConflictSimon Cowell has backed out of being a judge on Israel’s version of the X Factor amidst tensions between Palestiniens and Israelis.
The British producer was scheduled to judge contestants on the Israeli show until he cancelled without explanation.
The network that puts on the show, Reshet spoke to Variety and revealed that “Cowell was canceling ‘for his own reasons. Members of Cowell’s staff had reached out with ‘legitimate concerns’ over his participation in the show after the recent violence between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.”

As we reported, within the past few weeks, 232 people have been killed during the airstrikes on the Gaza Strip which included 65 children while a dozen people were killed in Israel. Military officials said 135 of those killed in Gaza were combatants.
