Silento, Whip/Nae Nae Artist, Charged With The Murder Of His Cousin
Dekalb County Police Department is charging Silento with the murder of his cousin that occurred back on January 21st, where Frederick Ross was found shot and unresponsive.
The 23-year-old is known for his hit single Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) in 2015, which reached No.3 in America and No.19 in the UK.
Silento is currently being held in Dekalb County Jail and is charged with murder.
According to BBC, the victim was 34-years-old and once he was found Ross was bleeding heavily. Authorities say he received a gunshot wounds to his face and leg in a suburb of Georgia, US.
His management team has been contacted to release a statement, but they have yet to respond. Shortly before his arrest, he posted a request on his Instagram story letting his 494,000 followers know they can send him money via CashApp for “selfies, videos and shoutouts”
His latest project was released on January 28, 2021 titled Swish. Some HipHop debaters might classify Silento as a one hit wonder, but currently his hit song and video has been watched over 1.7 billion times on Youtube. #Socialites what are your thoughts on situation?
