Shots At The Shop: Joe Biden Partners With 1,000 Black-Owned Beauty & Barbershops To Push Black Community To Get Vaccinated

While introducing a new initiative called “Shots at the Shop,” President Joe Biden partners with 1,000 Black-owned beauty shops and barbershops to push the Black community to get vaccinated.

In addition many stores, restaurants and other organizations encourage Americans to get vaccinated, our current POTUS launched a major push of his own in his goal of having 70% of American adults at least partially vaccinated against COVID-19 by July 4.

On Wednesday (June 2), Biden shared his plans in recruiting 1,000 Black-owned shops across the U.S. to help the community get vaccinated, offer free childcare for parents who want to get vaccinated and more. Meanwhile, the NBA, NHL, MLB and NASCAR also plan to offer free vaccines at their competitions, while Anheuser-Busch announced free beer for vaccinated adults aged 21 years and older on July 4.
