After traveling several feet backwards, seconds later, the suspect re-enters the camera’s frame before mowing down Lecompte. The shocking footage also shows the victim being thrown into the air after being struck by the truck, which continued to speed over him and jump up onto a sidewalk and grassy area. Several of the other good samaritans rush to Lecompte’s aid before police arrive. Lecompte was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
