Sharon Osbourne Says She Was ‘Betrayed’ By CBS & Co-Hosts
Sharon Osbourne is speaking out about her exit from ‘The Talk’ and how she was allegedly betrayed by CBS and her fellow hosts.
The 68-year-old claims CBS put her in that position on purpose and orchestrated the intense conversation with co-host Sheryl Underwood.
“They all knew the question and they all knew what was going down,” Osbourne says during an interview with DailyMailTV. “I felt totally betrayed.”
The backlash came after Sharon tweeted support for Piers Morgan following his rant about Meghan Markle. Sherly Underwood questioned Sharon on the show about her stance.
“We had a disagreement and I told her she shouldn’t be crying, it should be me that should be crying and that didn’t go down well,” Osbourne said. “Then in the commercial break, she wouldn’t talk to me. I was begging her to talk to me and she wouldn’t, and basically, I said, ‘go f–k yourself.”
“To leave me for 20 minutes on live TV … unprepared, not produced, not knowing what’s going on. Wait, where’s their apology to me? They could have cut at any time and gone to a commercial break, and why didn’t they cut?’

“They didn’t cut because they liked the controversy and they liked that everybody would be talking about this because they needed something for the show that was going into the toilet,” she added. “So they thought, ‘Well, she’s got the biggest following. Let’s go for her.’”
Sharon adds that she felt very betrayed by her co-hosts because they had previously made a pact to never do anything to betray or show one another in a negative light on the show.
“Where is the forgiveness,” she said. “Where is a second chance? So you say something wrong, not threatening somebody. You say something wrong, you’re out, you are out.”
