Shaq Pays For Funeral Of Victim Who Died In Louisiana Car Crash

Shaquille O’Neal has paid for the funeral expenses of a Louisiana boy who died in a deadly car accident a few weeks ago.

TMZ Sports reports the kind gesture was revealed by retired chief deputy Phil Conrad of the Lafayette City Marshall’s Office.  A few weeks ago, 12-year-old Trayvon Alexander and 11-year-old Keshon Batiste were in the backseat of a vehicle with an adult driver who ran a stop sign then crashed into a ditch and slammed into a tree. The boys’ were pronounced dead at the scene.

Conrad said Tayvon’s family had life insurance to cover for his funeral expenses but Keshon’s family created a GoFundMe page and still needed $4,000. Shaq heard the news about their financial situation and donated the leftover balance.

The money was instantly delivered to the Kinchen Funeral Jome and the boys were laid to rest on Saturday.
