Shannon Brown Charged With Aggravated Assault After Firing Rifle At Couple Viewing His Home For Sale
Former NBA player Shannon Brown was arrested over the weekend and charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly fired a rifle in the direction of a couple, who claim they were viewing his Georgia home that’s for sale.
Per ‘The Citizen,’ Tyrone Police Department spokesman Philip Nelson say that around 6 p.m. on Saturday (May 2), the man and woman saw the “for sale” sign outside of Brown’s home and decided to enter. The couple tell police that the gate to the property was open, as was the front door, and before entering, they announced themselves.

They claim someone inside the home replied, “Come in.” A few moments later Brown allegedly emerged with a rifle, and fired off five to six rounds in their direction. The couple say they contacted the police around 9:45 p.m., and on arrival to his home, police say Brown told officers he assumed the couple was breaking in.
