Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has been in the news recently for her thoughts on Barker’s relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. In a new interview with Page Six, however, Moakler has made it clear that she has her “own reasons” for not liking the famous family, which may or may not have anything to do with Barker’s current relationship.
“I have my own personal reasons for not liking the Kardashians, which I won’t get into,” she said. “But as long as he’s happy [and] as long as they are good to my kids, that’s all I care about.” Shanna makes it no secret that she and her ex aren’t exactly on the best of terms, and her issues with Kourtney haven’t made things any easier. Earlier this year, she accused Kourt of posting the kids Shanna shares with Travis more than her own children, which many fans perceived as a dig at the Poosh founder.
Speaking of the person Travis has become, she added, “He’s not the person that I was with anymore. He’s a completely different human being, so I don’t even really know him as a man right now. I don’t even know if we would be compatible or even good for one another anymore because he’s not the person that he was on ‘Meet The Barkers.’”
Shanna and Barker were married from 2004 to 2008 and have two children together. In recent years, Shanna has made headlines for her claims that Barker cheated on her with Kim Kardashian while they were still married. The mom of three has also stated that she “caught” Barker and Kardashian having an “affair,” adding fuel to the rumors of infidelity. While these claims have not been verified and Kardashian has denied them, they have certainly added to the drama surrounding Barker’s relationships.
Despite any bad blood between Shanna and the Kardashians, it seems that Barker and Kardashian are going strong. Sources have revealed that the couple has been dating for a few months and has a strong chemistry. They started dating after being neighbors for many years, and Kardashian’s family is happy for them and has welcomed Barker into the family. Barker proposed to Kardashian in October 2021, and they tied the knot in May 2022 in a lavish ceremony at Barker’s home in California.
