Shacarri Richardson Offered Movie Role in Charge It To The Game

The director of the movie Charge It To The Game exclusively tells Hollywood Unlocked that many opportunities are hard to come by for minority social media stars.

Charge It To The Game stars the sons of  Swizz Beatz (Note Marcato) , Dr Dre (Curtis Young) , Snoop Dogg (Julian Broadus ) and Eazy E ( Lil Eazy E), and is releasing January 2022.

Dominic Lee plays the lead role of Smoke, a track star who is rumored to be the fastest man in the country.
The director explains that on platforms like Tiktok, it seems black creators are targeted for community guidelines and banned at a rate that renders minority creators scared to post.

Tiktok stars @.talyeh and @D.alexandro who the director mentors recently got their popular accounts deleted for “minor safety”. Both were popular minors on the app. The director takes issue with that claim and points out that the entire app is filled with profanity and vulgar language.

Both Talyeh and D.Alexandro appealed to tiktok but have not heard back.

For this very reason, the director took the opportunity to cast the movie with newcomers and minority Tiktok stars to give them a bigger voice and encourage other minorities to never give up.

The cast consists of Tiktok stars Trentyn Lehman, David Neal,  Aya Tanjali, Emmett Benito, Mauricio Hernández, itzManoloo, Derrick Jason , TrulyBoyJojo, KBreezo, Fred Degrace, GloryBoyJai , Tav.W, OfficialMmanny, Jiggy Turner and Cohen Muse.

and also Ayanis, Masika Kalysha, Taylor Schwartz, OG3Three Jeremy Meek, and Trey Johnson.

The director recently put out the word that he is interested in casting Shacarri Richardson following her disqualification of the Olympics but points out that she took a W in endorsements with her BeatsByDre endorsement.

BeatsByDre and Monster Beats are two companies that are of interest in regards to product placement in the movie.

Current sponsors include Fansmerch, and CHT- Chronic Token.

Julien Cordrey the owner of Fansmerch ( a popular celebrity merchandising company) is also a proud sponsor for the film. Julien who is black recognized the fact that many black actors do not get opportunities to star in movies and wanted his company to show support.

CHT Token – Chronic Token is also a sponsor of the movie. The producers of Charge it To The Game partnered with Brandon Piotrowski the Chief Marketing Officer of CHT – Chronic Token, because of their shared value about prison reform.
