Jonathan Jacob Meijer reportedly fathered over 550 children and officials have accused him of lying on about the number of children he has fathered. According to The Telegraph, clinic guidelines in the Netherlands requires donors to donate a maximum of 25 children or 12 women to prevent incest, inbreeding, or psychological problems in the future. One of the mothers of Meijer’s children took the case to civil court and said she was unaware that he had father over 100 children when she accepted his donation in 2018.
‘If I had known he had already fathered more than 100 children I would never have chosen him. If I think about the consequences this could have for my child I am sick to my stomach,’ the woman exclaimed.

Donorkind officials are asking the court to order Meijer to stop donating his sperm and to find out which clinics contain his donations. Additionally, they want all of his sperm in storage to be destroyed and Donorkind chairman Ties van der Meer said they are taking actions into their own hand because the government is reportedly doing nothing to resolve the issue. “He has a global reach via the internet and he does business with large, international sperm banks,” the chairman explained.
Meijer works as a musician and he is apparently on a mission to donate his sperm internationally as he’s made donation in Denmark, Ukraine. Additionally, he has reached out to parents who are looking for in home insemination via social media. Currently, he lives in Kenya and uses the alias Ruud when he wants to donate sperm.
Donorkind raised some concerns after it was discovered in 2017 that he fathered 102 children and they learned last that 10 of their doctors used their own sperm to father children. The Netherlands is working on a national registry for sperm donors to prevent further complications.
There has been reactions about the sperm donor’s lawsuit as clearly he had more than enough time to father 550 children since 2017

Cool. I like it when laws are put to good use. We should try that here in America.

It's a hell of a successful genetic fitness strategy all the same. No mammal short of Genghis Khan had close to those numbers.
