A man was arrested after he received various gifts and other items from the 35 women he was dating at the same time because he told them that his birthday was on a different date.

Takashi Miyagawa,39, was arrested on fraud charges after it was discovered that he swindled the women into giving him birthday gifts on different days plus pretended to be in a serious relationship with them. Authorities said Miyagawa would tell one woman that his birthday was in July and another that his birthday was in April.
His victims say that he manipulated them into giving him gift cards, presents, and clothes and he never told them his real birth date. Miyagawa’s birthday is November 13 and he met the women while working as an employee for a marketing company.

The women formed an association to report the scam together to authorities back in February and police believe more victims will come forward.
