Scottie Pippen and his ex-wife Larsa Pippen have reportedly been hit with a lawsuit for harassment and stalking.
According to Page Six, a woman named Chyvette Valentine claims she had an off and on relationship with the Chicago Bulls legend from 1987 to 1993. In the court documents obtained by the news outlet, Valentine alleges she was raped by Scottie and his brother Carl. She also alleges that she alleged assault led to the birth of her late son, Devonte Pippen who passed away in 2011. Once their alleged relationship came to an end Valentine claims Scottie “used his celebrity as a Chicago Bulls player” to allegedly “stalk, harass and torment” her.
In the filing Valentine says that Scottie’s harassment caused her “severe mental and emotional issues.” She continued to state that she has lost multiple employment opportunities because of the alleged stalking. Valentine claimed in the suit that Scottie used his connections with local, state and federal employees to allegedly cancel a police report she filed against him and allegedly falsified her reports to portray her as “mentally ill.” Valentine is seeking $250 million from Scottie, the Bulls and his family members over the claims.
Valentine announced her decision to sue the family in a letter. “Over the past 30 years and counting, I have endured a series of tormenting acts perpetrated by Scottie Pippen, Carl T. Pippen, and Larsa Pippen, with the Chicago Bulls organization failing to address or rectify the situation. These acts include stalking, harassment, and rape, among others,” she wrote. “Despite my repeated attempts to seek recourse through appropriate channels, the Chicago Bulls organization has negligently allowed these crimes to persist unchecked.” Of the team, she accused the Bulls of showing a “blatant disregard for the law and basic human decency.” She also demanded they take immediate action to address her case or otherwise she would “pursue legal action to seek justice and restitution for the damages inflicted.”
As we all know now, Larsa Pippen is currently dating Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus she was previously married to Scottie from 1997 through 2021.
